What do we really want from God? Some want a personal God who is there for them in times of good and bad. Others would prefer a god who is more distant....one who allows us to be on our own and figure out everything for ourselves. Still others want a god who really is a reflection of themselves...not more no less.
Do we really want a God who is in control of everything? We say we do but for some reason we want an out that allows us to complain when things are not done to our satisfaction. After all, there is too much evil and pain in the world...why can't God do something about that? I don't have enough of what i want (read need), can't God do something about that? If God is in control, then why are people allowed to act the way they do? Why.......... the questions are endless.....
